Re: Corvette Fuel filter

Brave man putting the fuel filter in the engine compartment.

I would keep the stock f-body filter on it, much more safe that way.

Re: Corvette Fuel filter

Here's mine with Russel -AN fittings. I drilled a hole under the car to mount it close to where the stock one went.

Re: Corvette Fuel filter

I may end up moving mine to the stock location. I didn't realize it would be so much easier with 90* fittings like what Ian did. I'm gonna leave it how it is for a while though and just enjoy driving it for a while.

Re: Corvette Fuel filter

Does anyone have the correct P/N to use. I went to the local parts house and they showed me the 97 and 98 and neither looked right. Thanks

Re: Corvette Fuel filter

What's so special about the Corvette fuel filter? Or why not just use the stock thirdgen one?

Re: Corvette Fuel filter

Makes me wish I picked up some 90* fittings...damn it!
Anyone have any issues with mounting it behind the rear seats, in front of the tank?
I would love if some autoparts stores actually sold these 90* and had them in stock.
