B-Body LT1 wiring question
Hey guys, got an 87 trans am that i'm throwing my 1995 LT1 from a B-Body (Caddy Fleetwood) into. I've read all of the wiring articles and understand them all 99%. I'm pretty proficient with electrical stuff. However, on my B-Body harness (that has the in line fuse/relay box). In the place of C210 C220 and C230, I have 3 separate connectors. One of which looks like C220 (white), but the wire colors don't match up at all.
Starting at the top we have a big inline 6 pin connector that has 5 thick red lines coming off and one yellow. My guess is main 12v+, if someone knows for sure that would be awesome.
Second we have the connector that appears to be the 10pin C220, but the wire colors don't match up at all.
Last is a block very close to that of a thirdgens C100
These wires all meet up and most (if not all) seem to hit the fuse/relay box shown here:
Now on the F-body harness, shown here: http://shbox.com/1/harness.htm
There doesn't appear to be a fuse/relay box. Is one necessary for the swap?
So to outline my questions:
1) Can anyone identify the purpose of the three connectors individually?
2) Can I skip the fuse/relay box such as the F-Body harness appears to do?
3) This is the big one and the long shot, does anyone know where I could splice in with this harness to locate the C210 C220 and C230 wires?
Thank you, and much love!

Re: B-Body LT1 wiring question
1) They control gauges and misc wiring to the underdash things like BCM etc
2) 87 Fbody should have all the necessary relays and fuses to support a LT1 unless it was originally carbed. Then a separate fuse block will be needed. You dont have to use the B-body fuse block unless you really want to. There are several smaller units available
3) No, read this
http://www.lt1swap.com/all_lt1.htm
Personally, I would suggest rebuilding the harness to best fit your needs instead of using the B-body one and guessing the pinouts of some unknown connectors. If you read the articles and have a decent idea of how its done then this will not be difficult
