Re: fuel fittings
This might be what you're looking for, I think one is 16mm and the other is 14mm. I'm not completely sure on this but someone else might chime in here soon.

Re: fuel fittings
Talking about fuel lines..........
Can the flares on the LS1 fuel/brake lines used for the quick disconnect be remade on brand new lines ? Is there a special flaring die for that ?
I would like keep the fittings stock on the LS1 at the engine and fuel tank, but use my 3rd gen lines but make them the same as the LS1 at the 2 ends.
I thought about using compression fittings at the 2 ends and mating the LS1 ends to the 82's lines but heard that was a bad idea.
Sorry for hijacking ur thread.

Re: fuel fittings
i'll post up pics if it'll help when the stuff gets here, but what i think i'm doing (in theory) is that with the above adapter threaded into the original thirdgen hardline right at the firewall, i can thread a -6 an line on to that. then i already have another adapter i got for the -6 an to the gm quick connector on the fuel rail. its a russell fitting at the rail, i can check the p/n when i get home tonight. haven't even looked at the tank yet though, i want to get the front end stuff handled before i make any bigger mess in my garage.

Re: fuel fittings
So if I'm understanding this correctly, those fittings are all you need to connect the stock 3rd gen fuel lines to the LS1 fuel rails? Or does your fuel regulator go in between the two?

Re: fuel fittings
i'm also swapping in the 4th gen tank, so the pressure is all taken care of back there. guess it'd be the same for the vetter filter mounted back there though. if you are running a regulater and a return line, you'd need to use the smaller adapter for the 5/16 return, then the same -6 an line and quick connect adapter. i am just running a returnless system.

Re: fuel fittings
the russel fitings for the gm quick connect to -6 are
640940
640930
And the two adapters you need for the stock third gen hard lines are
9894DBJERL
9894DBHERL
Hope that helps

Re: fuel fittings
To help you better explain the situation to me, I am using the stock 3rd gen tank with a bigger fuel pump, the stock 3rd gen fuel lines, the LS1 fuel rails, and an Aeromotive regulator.

Re: fuel fittings
Well the LS1 will only need one of the fittings I am refering to since there is not return. The quick connect is the connector that snaps onto the fuel rail from the original fuel line. The adapter has that on one end and converts that to a regular -6 an fitting or you can use a JIC fitting as well.

Explain what the GM quick connect is please. I'm not sure what you're referring to.
