LT1 Heads ?
I have an extra set of LT1 heads laying in my garage.. I was thinking about getting them machined/ported/polished in hopes that I could turn them into great flowing heads rather than spending money on a set of AFRs.... I mean i realize they won't be as good as AFRs but I'm looking to save a few bucks and gain some horsepower. I would eventually like to upgrade my came to something more than the LT4 hotcam. Could anyone offer me some ideas and numbers that I could do with these. Thanks for the advice!

Re: LT1 Heads ?
Those heads have a lot of potential, if you pay for CNC porting. It's possible to get them over 270/210 cfm by .550", but I've yet to flow a set of LT1 heads done by any novice that reached 250/180.

Re: LT1 Heads ?
thanks for the comments... yea... im pretty new to the whole heads set ups and numbers, so i would obvisiously take them to someone to get done, I was just looking for specific numbers I would tell someone that I'm looking to get done and hopefully have them produce me a great flowing set up heads. And the ones I have are the aluminum casting heads.
