Thats a nice article... Part numbers make it VERY useful as well. I think Ive seen that somewhere though. I picked up a couple books back before I built my 87....but I only skimmed them so I can remember if it was in one of them.
Good link! Saving that sucker for future reference. haha.

I'll put it in the sticky. I tried searching for it, but came up with a bunch of non-related hits, so I thought I'd ask the vets to make sure I wasn't missing something.
The engine kit p/n is still good, I think.

Re: Another LS1 swap guide
HAhaha I put a post in the original Ls1tech swap sticky with the PN to that guide which there is a link to in our sticky already. I bought it when i did mine and its a good read through for someone who knows nothing of these engines but not really that helpful for actual swapping. You hit the nail on the head its a great resource for PN's and the like. Besides anything you can print and keep handy on the work bench is always good to have. By the time i finished my swap I had about 200 pages or printed stuff in a binder thats now grease covered with my notes and whatnot. Mainly the wiring info but because I did mods theres some print outs from LS1 university and ls1howto etc. in there. Anyways more info the better...
Speaking of sticky.... We're getting very very clost to overtaking the LT1 swap thread for hits LOL

I've seen so many things I can't remember what I've seen and what I haven't. That one didn't look familiar.
One thing that caught my eye was the picture of the elbow air inlet duct. Since it had a p/n, I looked it up on gmpartsdirect.com and it came up as an LT1 duct. I haven't figured out what I'm going to do there, except knowing I want to take it over to the left "battery tray" (keeping the battery on the right side), and that one looked like it did the job just fine. But, the LT1 duct is oval, and the LS1 TB is round - must be close enough when you circularize it to work.
