Hedman getting into the game?

I saw this on Facebook, of all places:

"Hedman is about to realease a new series of LS1 engine swap hedders at the 2008 SEMA Show. You can see them at booth #22343"

What are the chances they'll pick us as one of their targets?

Anybody planning on going to the SEMA Show?

Re: Hedman getting into the game?

THAT would be nice... but somehow I (cynically) suspect that they'll duplicate the lineup that's already out there - 1st-gen F-bodies, early Novas, etc. etc. Sure hope I'm wrong though.

Who knows, if we were to individually contact them, they might make a note of it.

They already have LS1 block huggers (very pricey). In their "vehicles wanted" list, they include '96-'02 Camaro LS1. Alas, no '82-'92 Camaro with LS1. But, perhaps that means they've already done it.

Re: Hedman getting into the game?

Hey, who knows - maybe they're in the middle of developing swap headers (errr, "hedders") for 4-door tri-fives!

Re: Hedman getting into the game?

Pace parts had a set of hedman of LS1 shorties listed for thirdgens in the last catalog I looked at.. there was no price listed, and they couldn't be found on the hedman website.

Conclude from that what you will.

The regular 4th gen ls1 shorties should fit as most I believe bolt up to the stock y pipe, therefore match the stock manifolds which fit our cars.

Have never heard glowing reports about LS1 shorties.

I've gotten a tweak from the Facebook group, but no updates. I sent a message to the Hedman guy, no response.

It's not nice to tease people, especially gullible ones like me. . .
