Re: LONG TUBE CROSSMEMBER?

Only longtube crossmember I know of other then the custom jobs is skultes.

That's what I use with my longtubes. Tranny mount hole was too far forward but I modded it to work.

Re: LONG TUBE CROSSMEMBER?

Best advice I can give you is to search this forum for "exhaust" or "headers". That'll bring up plenty of threads (with pictures!) where people have posted what's worked for them & what hasn't.

The Spohn T-56 crossmember seems to be universally disparaged for being right in the way of where the Hawks headers come out, I'm going to see how it works with the modified Hooker longtubes I'll be using. The Skulte crossmember seems to be pretty decent though...

Re: LONG TUBE CROSSMEMBER?

I used a Spohn tubular K member and engine mounts and Skulte's long tube crossmember with Hawk's longtubes. I had Zero issues with the tranny crossmember and longtubes, but had to "fiddle" with the tubular K member and engine mounts. Specifically, I ordered the k member with the extra triangle brace mounts (from front of k member to the unibody) and I had interference with both the Alternator and ac compressor. I ended up cutting the extra braces out and spacing up the passenger side motor mount about 1/2". Everything fit after that.

I should have pictures in my swap thread on KYfbodies.org.
