LS1 Injectors?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me why I dont ever see people upgrading the injectors in the LS1 like we do in the TPIs? Are stock LS1 injectors bigger than the TPIs? I would assume so. But hey you know what they say about assumptions. Anyone have the facts?

Well.. I think the ls1 injectors are 28lb/hr at the ls1's fuel PSi ratings. I could be wrong. Working on a ls1 now and I dont really think I Need injectors yet. Its a cam only (tqv2).

?? People upgrade the injectors all the time.... Mine are. If you want to learn about LS mods...check out LS1tech.com. Thats where you'll find the most info.

The LS motor likes mods, and is good to go with bolt ons. The fuel system can support a good bit or tinkering.

Re: LS1 Injectors?

97-98 LS1 injectors are 28lb and 99 and up are 26lb. Lots of guys swap em though. I did. SVO 30's which at the much higher LS1 fuel pressure makes them about a 38lb

Hahaha... uhhh. I cant tell you. I have no idea. Its just common speech I think. Many many folks say it. Is there somewhere in particular you thought I picked it up?

Yeah thats common Devil Dog jargon son haha. 'Good to go' is in every other sentence in the Marines. Just wondering if you had served in the corps.
