LS7 Build
Well, i decided to go out and get a bare LS7 Block. I'll be picking it up soon. I'll post pics of the build and install as i go, over the next 6-7 months. I should be kicking down an easy 600+ N/A streetable HP by the time i'm done. Anyways, this should be interesting.........stay tuned for pics

Re: LS7 Build
whats a LS7 block go for?
why not go with the new lsX block and do a Big Cube motor like 402+ cubes.
482 is it. 4.25" bore X 4.25" stroke. Id guess the LS7 build would cost the same?

lol, no ****.. i agree...
an LS7 block is NOT worth the money.. you gain nothing over the other GM blocks of similar bore size, yet you pay waaaay too much for it.
and if you're building a monster motor of some kind.. then get an aftermarket block... warhawk, LSx or dart billet.... but an LS7 block... thats just a waste of money...

Re: LS7 Build
No, prob. I'll do what i want.
I just won't post....maybe i got a deal on a ls7
LS7=427 plans are to stroke to 496....big enough cube for me. IIRC, i think the LSX block is good for 511 cubes....all well.

Re: LS7 Build
the ls7 wont go to 496 inches. its a good block for a 427 or pushing it...440. mr dude, there is no other ls block that comes with a 4.125.
