Starting problems
If you read in my last post I've been having starting problems.
Well I found out the knock sensor for a 96 lt4 Engine code 5 vette will not work with my setup put one for a 95 back in the car hesitantly started and ran I was jumping for joy but then i accidently pulled my FPump wire loose and of course it died. the car ran for about 10 min. Cool. I thought. when it was runing the MAF was off ????? so I put it back on the car wouldn't Idle. Took it back off now it wont start I chanded my Control Module. No fire out of the coil. The fuel pump is hooked back up and has plenty of pressure. all the car will do know is turn over. PLEASE HELP ME. I'm about to pull my hair out.

i was having the same problem back in the fall. my car would turn over but it would die right after. we found out later that it was the distributor. if not try checking your carburetor. it might be a problem with the air and fuel not mixing right

Red 82 Z28 vs LT4 knock module???
Afternoon,
I just found your post where you mention that you are/were attempting to use the LT4 knock sensor or knock module?
I'm searching for information on how to update the knock setup on my 88 IROC L98 engine and am curious as to what you've discovered. What year is your 350 block????? Thank-you, Nitro

Well I'm using all the 95 LT1 stuff the car wouldn't start for two reasons, first, everyone telling you to put a LT4 knock sensor in is wrong. put the sensor in that the application calls for for instance 95 Camaro does not work with a 96 and newer LT4 knock sensor. etc The second reason why it wasn't starting is that the harness going to the Optispark all four wires were touching bought a new harness and it will run now but won't run properly. thanks. I'll try to answer any more questions you have.
