VATS question

Ok I have searched for this, but I would like to make sure I am on the right track. I am transplanting a LT1 from a 95 Impala SS into my 89 Iroc Camaro. I ordered the VATS box from Baker electronics. Once I get this, I just have to wire it into the LT1 pcm correct? Also do I have to do anything else to the factory Camaro wiring to ensure the car will start correctly? Thanks for taking the time to answer this.

I programmed the VATS out of my PCM, was easier than trying to hook up a VATS box.

I also used the Baker Electronix bypass module. When you receive it, it will have three wires. Black, Red, and Blue. The black is a ground, red needs to be wired into something that is hot in start and run. The blue will be wired into pin 25 on the red 32 pin connector on the PCM or the E slot (dk blue wire) on the blue 10 pin connector. It is very simple. And, you can even go to O'rielly's and buy a 3 pin male and female connector, wire it through that, and then you have a Anti theft mechanism.

The VATS bypass wire in to pin A25 I think (A) is the red one. you are looking for a blue wire. The wire terminates in one of the connecters, but I don't remember which one.

I have a Painless Wiring harness for my 95 LT1 swap, Im going to buy the bypass module, can you guys explain again how and where it hooks up. Does the bypass hook into the cars existing wiring , the new wiring harness or the LT1 pcm. Im very confused, I hope the fact that I bought a painless doesnt make this harder.
