Is it possible to relocate the lt1 pcm inside the interior using stock wiring
Just wondering if it has been done, would like to clean up the engine bay a little bit. I think the LS1 guys drill a 2" hole underneath the heater box. Wondering if this will work for a LT1 pcm and then have the pcm on the passenger side close to where the thirdgen ecm is. Looks like it could work.

can't really commment on how much longer/shorter the LT1 harness is vs. the LS1 but i did drill the hole in my firewall for my ls1 one. Its a really tight fit but i was able to slip the computer up to into the stock location. I would give John at speartech a call and ask him how they differ in length, since he does work on both.

Didnt do the swap myself, but my 93 computer is in the passenger seat foot well.....gonna have to do some mods to mount it somewhere soon....because the carpet is bunched up right now....but it should mount to the underside of the dash.

no reason it shouldn't work. I'm planning on extending the wiring though and running it through the stock route.
