BEWARE ebay seller-lt1/lt4 egr kit
fbodyparts05 on ebay sells egr delete kits and they are absolute crap.
he advertises them thick, they are not, he advertises them with gaskets. i recieved what looked like construction paper with them.
he charges over 9 dollars for shiping and insurance. there is no insurance and he simply puts the stuff in an envelope and mails it.

wow dude is that just the metal block off plate thats shaped like a triangle? I wouldnt pay anyone to mail that to me, I'd check the junkyards, parts stores and performance shop or just make one out of a thick peice of metal. Anyway make sure you give him bad reviews on ebay so other buyers see it and avoid the situations that you had to suffer.

how thick are the ones he sends you?
and the "construction paper" is gasket material. I've used it before on the top plate of my throttle body and it worked perfectly. There is no reason not to use that on the back of the intake as you don't have to worry about any liquids getting back there.

Yeah the two plates and gaskets costed me 18 and with shipping the total came to $26. He shipped them fast.
I dont know where i would get that thick of aluminum, but i'm sure i could find some. Then i'd have to take it to the bench grinder, then drill holes. After that it still wouldn't look as good as this guy's on ebay. His parts were done well and i have no complients about them. I figure the time/money/gas-money i'd spend on this project by doing it myself might not be worth it.
If I still had a buddy that was a machinist it would be a different story.

I have the same kit. They where made nice. They are thin but the pieces are nice. I would have just made some but I don't have the right tools to do it right.
