*Digital Dash Question*
I own a 1984 V6 Camaro Sports Coupe; my question is if it's possible to swap the factory dash
and completely replace it with the digital dash from a Berlinetta and how to go about doing it right; thank you*

Re: *Digital Dash Question*
Sure it can be done. This picture is of an 85 Berlinetta that I converted to a Sports Coupe interior.
If you want it to be a successful conversion your best option is to have a complete donor car to work with before starting. Your car is an 84 meaning that it is one of the best years to use if you want to clone a Berlinetta. Good luck !

Re: *Digital Dash Question*
I love the Belinetta, but I'm pretty sure the dash system isn't just plug and play...but it is super cool

Re: *Digital Dash Question*
Yup, that's a link to my website. I've still got some 'major' Berlinetta electrical parts,... but not many left. I was able to keep working replacements on my shelf and available for the better part of the last 2 decades, but started running out about a year back.. Ran out of Clusters about a year ago, Blinker Pods last summer, and sold my last Light Module last week. ( still have most other stuff ) I will still have those 3 specific parts available from time to time in the future,... but no longer able to keep them "in stock" so to speak.

Re: *Digital Dash Question*
The Coupe/Z28 Dash in the 85 Berlinetta pictured above is actually an 88 Coupe dash wiring harness connected to an 85 Berlinetta Engine harness. ( 88+ harnesses changed a little more compared to all earlier harnesses.)
82-83 dash Harness are not compatible ( to all other thirdgen years ) for a lot of reasons,... Power distribution wire changes and the odd-ball wiper systems being the biggest problems.
** Installing the Berlinetta dash housing also means your going to be installing the Berlinetta column and center console too.

Re: *Digital Dash Question*
Probably easier to tell you what I know I don't have,....
No Clusters
No Blinker Pods
No Light Module
Got a few dash housings W/Wiring, got a few center consoles, a couple steering columns, an (interior side) HVAC box or 2 with the Berlinetta relays, ( engine bay HVAC box you already have will work ) Several Berlinetta Radios ( can Add remote AUX jack ) , and most of the other 'small stuff' needed too.
If your car is a stick than that will change some of the parts needed. ( column, shifter bezels, wiring, ect... ) Most Berlinettas had a factory automatic tranny.
Not sure if ( *I doubt* ) I have a tranny mounted electric speedo VSS. You would need the proper electric VSS and matching speed gears for the digital speedo to work. That VSS would be from a 84-86 Berlinetta, 86-89 Firebird or some similar year Vets. The correct electric VSS and speedo gears for your car will depend on your gear end gearing. ( VSS required depends on the speedo gear tooth count - which depends on the rear gears. )
If you intend to use you original engine bay wiring harness you'll need to add a couple wires for the electric VSS and will need to splice or re-pin the Wiper Wiring @ C100.
If you keep the ECM/SMOG installed the Coupe harness you've got will work fine. If you plan to remove the ECM/SMOG stuff than I'd recommend wiring up a tranny lock up kit of some type.
