82 Z28 - Unlock/Lock Reversed!? On driver side
The button's right, but hitting lock unlocks and vice versa. Currently on my passenger side locking is fuonal but both aides buttons are and passenger's workworks properly.
Lock on the left, unlock on the right in terms of buttons and labels

Re: 82 Z28 - UnUnlovk/Lock Reversed!? On driver side
The way it's supposed to be on both sides, Lock is toward the rear of the car, unlock toward the front. If they're not like that someone must have replaced one with the wrong side button.
At least that's how my 92 is set up. Don't know if other years were different. Can't imagine why, but???
Either that or the plug was put on upside down on the back if you can even do that

Hey, it could be a lot worse. They both work, all you have to do is get used to which way works and ignore the lettering where it's not right. Once you get used to it you don't even hardly have to look at the buttons...
