Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but I have found a fix for a tilt steering column that when leaned on bends down and to the left. The problem as described elsewhere on here, is the holes that the pivot pins fit into in the aluminum tilt steering cups wear and get larger allowing the pins to wobble. The column design is in so many models, but after a lot of searching, I found a product on the ZR1 forums, an oversized pin. Expensive ($50, plus $6 for shipping), but cheaper than replacing the column or cups (not sure thats exactly what they are called). Here's the link the guy, Dave(?), was great, admitted you only have to replace the left one

Again sorry if this is redundant but I've been looking for a solution on here and all over the net, and only just recently uncovered a solution using JB weld. Hope this helps Now if only I could figure out why I cant get accessory on my VATS ignition cylinder.

I have the same problem with mine. I read some where on the interwebs about using .003 or .004 copper shim material as a filler to tighten up this pin. When I get around to this I think I'm going to give this a try.
