Protecting dash pad ??

I replaced my dash pad in January and I already have two small but noticeable splits in the passenger side anyone know how I can protect it from further damage ?

get a dash rug, always leave windows cracked, liberally apply armorall or similar spray.

When mine was a DD, I always used a sun shade. ....or just throw a towel up there when ya park it.

Little, I have to ask......you bought it in January and its cracking ALREADY! Was it new or a used one?
If it was new and I spent that kind of money on it, I'd be one upset camper with that vendor!

I use Formula 303 Aerospace protectant, and have never had a dash pad crack. It's non-greasy, won't attract dust, won't discolour, and will block those harmful UVA/UVB rays.

I have a spare daily driver one with a cracked corner that I don't worry so much about. I use 303 protectant here as well.

Re: Protecting dash pad ??

Just bought a bottle of 303 at a local car show. Have always heard good things about it, and want to save mine, if possible.
