Mechanical oil pressure gauge
Not sure if this is in the correct section but i recently just swapped from tpi to carb and want to install a oil pressure gauge mechanical. My car is a 91 camaro 350ci . What is the threaded plug that is next to the distributor? Can i unplug that and install the fittings there for my oil gauge?

Re: Mechanical oil pressure gauge
Yep, that is where the oil sending unit would typically be. Listed as "80" below (Edit: in purple with the green square).

Re: Mechanical oil pressure gauge
Thanks for the quick reply. So im guessing for the older models the pressure sensor was on the top and the newer models were on the bottom by the filter?

I'm not sure on that I just use the one on top. (I didn't notice the other "80" in the pic. lol)
