Aftermarket steering wheels....what dish size??

I've decided to get a Grant steering wheel for my 91 Firebird. I was wondering if the "dish size" matters. Some wheels are labeled as having a 3" dish and some are 3.5" or 3.75". What dish size do I need for my car? Does matter?

Re: Aftermarket steering wheels....what dish size??

Dish size is similar to dish size on wheels. It's how "deep" the steering wheel is when it's mounted.

Google "deep dish" steering wheels and you'll get a better idea of what it means (to an extreme).
