speedo gauge pegs out! whats wrong?
Bought my 91 Camaro recently and the speedo did not work.. it stayed pegged at 7000 rpm..
Went on eBay and bought a used gauge cluster.. installed the RPM gauge from that cluster into my old cluster..
Started the car up the gauge was at 0 and went directly to 7000 once the engine started
what else on these cars go bad?

First of all it's your tach that has a problem, not your speedo. Second, the most likely cause would be the engine speed sensor. I'm pretty sure it's connected to your distributor cap, so check that. If that's ok, then you probably have a grounded wire.
