Wow what a great idea. Thats the best solution ive seen. Easy to put in and easy to remove if you are concerned about looks. Very practical

I'll have to try that on the bird. I got the same holders at Walmart, 4 for $1.99.
There are other options but require a screw, wasn't doing that. They are needed badly.

Awesome, I was just about to look into drilling into the center console to put some cup holder inserts in. 3rd gens have big window lips and I couldn't find anything to fit them. This makes way more sense, thanks for the post!

Didnt work on the bird, I may pick up a POS console lid and rig it with inserts.... instead of sacrificing a good lid.
