button that holds seat belt guide together on GTA seats
Do any of you know where to find this button? I lost one.
I think GM did a **** poor job on this design.
Anyways, I am considering having them remade out of billet aluminum if there are none to be found. So if any of you are interested in getting billet aluminum ones for your GTA let me know. The more I make the cheaper they will be.

I bought a very small piece of vaccum line and cut it to fit. Forgot the size but it works perfectly.

I have only one in my car. Is there a way to keep the two halves from coming apart when I tug on the seatbelt?

Re: button that holds seat belt guide together on GTA seats
I am thinking about securing one side of the button to the guide with maybe super glue or something along those lines. I was also contemplating using small roll pins to secure them together. Roll pins would make a semi-permanent attachment that could be removed if necessary. Just some of my ideas.

Re: button that holds seat belt guide together on GTA seats
Alright guys... I have had these for a few weeks now. I just haven't had the time to post the pics. I finally got them from the machine shop and they turned out really nice in my opinion. Just to be clear, the one on the right is the stock one that I removed from my car.
They are made out of aluminum and fit nice & snug. They could easily be painted to match your interior. Here are a few more pics...
So what do you guys think? He can also make them out of plastic, but that isn't going to happen until I have sold all of the aluminum ones first. Of which I have three sets left.

What did you want for a set of the aluminium with shipping to Canada?

Do you have an area code in Canada so that I can check on shipping prices?

Re: button that holds seat belt guide together on GTA seats
I'm thinking $45 shipped for a set in the US will cover my costs. I am going to the UPS store today to check on it. I still need to look at USPS prices too. I'm not really sure about how much it will cost to ship over seas. PM me your shipping information Jlarsson and I will check on that too. I will let you guys know what I find out.

Re: button that holds seat belt guide together on GTA seats
Sorry Jlarsson, but they aren't cheap to make. This is a custom item that had to be made on the CNC machine out of billet aluminum. The only way to get the price down some is to get a big order together - like 25 sets.

Re: button that holds seat belt guide together on GTA seats
I think that the USPS is your best option. I believe they have a small flat-rate Priority Mail box, which offers the best service both domestically and internationally. Heck, those buttons are so small you can probably mail them First Class for very little money.
The only issue with the US Postal Service, is the lack of a good (reliable) tracking system.

Me too. I would buy a pair of grey and a pair of black ones if anyone is 3D printing them.

I’d be interested in 2 pairs in the light saddle colour if possible. I’m in Ontario, Canada. Thanks

Are you still making these with a 3d printer? I would be interested in a black set.
