Re: Recaro Profi SPG seats any body install them?
just got done with 50% 0f the install.mock up, used Gm sliders (non Camaro) on the Recaro seat Brackets.
seats slide like they should and Sit like they should (will get pics by weeks end. im 6'4 and the rails/sliders sit low enof, even my Helmet fits. with room.
this was so easy, it was like, it was ment to Be!

well after having to move the Recaro seat Brackets over 3/4" ontop of the GM rails for a Perfect fit, im satisfied with the outcome, even got to use the factory rail caps.

Looks real nice, professional. How much did you pay for the seats?

Re: installing Recaro Profi SPG seats, using GM Rails.
Thank You.
they list for $1600 for the set, without rails. add Rails and another $300 IF i was to try to buy them now!...BUT!
at the last SEMA Show(Las Vegas) i was talking to the RECARO guys at there Booth. and they had a dozzon Set's at the show with brackets Bolted to a nice display stand.
i asked if they liked packing all the stuff in and out of the Shows.
(not all that fun)
asked if i could take anything off there Hands, to make it a bit more easy when the show ends..
the head guy i think Greg was His Name, asked what i was looking at.
i asked about the red Profi seats, Greg told me i could Buy them if i wanted to.. How Much was my nexed words..
he looked at His Cell phone and made a call... about 3 min later. he asked me.. do i have $400 cash... i told Him..Yes...Yes I do. He did not even want the base back.
the seats are 3 years old (FIA labels are from 2009) But Hey...im happy!
still meet all the NHRA/IHRA Rules.
over the years of going to the SEAM shows I have scored
Tires
Wheels
Air cleaners (K&N Twin 8" tall Valsty Stacks with 3" tall air filters)Had a tunl ram at one time. long ago.
Jackets (not the Give away stuff)
and lots of other stuff
Ya just have to ask! and be willing to Buy Lunch..and go get it!
SMOOZZZING! It works
on a side note.. i had them down to $900 for the black and red Carbon Fiber set ....I did not have the cash for that...so this was My 2nd Pick!
at the end: this set of seats. sits me low enof. that with my helmet on. i still have 1" from the top of the helmet, to the head liner. and Im 6'4" tall. And, with the seat rail pushed all the way back. i can stretch out, and relax..it feels good.and i dont feel like im sitting on a plastic bucket!
