its embroidered with a machine.. i am a fan of the colors i thought of doing the red / orange color like on the dash but i wanted to be more unique..

this was just to practice anyway im learning how to do leather interiors and i might go with the red/orange color on black leather i think it will work

ya i do embroidery for clients all the time haven't done any for cars except my own yet but i want to learn how to do custom leather upholstery soon.

That looks nice!! Since it's not something I'd tackle on my own, I had my 92 done similar to that when I had the seats re-covered. A 4th gen RS logo with CAMARO superimposed on top. The fabric I chose almost perfectly matches the purple paint on the car...

for sure guys i love doing stuff like this i'm just starting out i have no idea how much to charge so like i told the other guy 20 bucks per headrest and that includes the me doing your own custom digitization of what you want on there. ( dont take them off until u have marked them for me! pm me)

has anyone offered these for sell on here before? i wish there was a easier way to get these made rather then having u send them to me and then wait a couple weeks for them back.. and tips or feed back greatly appreciated! i might be new at headrests but im not at all new to embroidery so if someone wants to see my work before they send me there headrests let me know.

 

I wanted to do something like that to my headrests when I had the seats done but was quoted a ton of $$$. I think it was like a hundred per and all I wanted was silver chevrons or something simple like it.

Any ways, looks great no matter the color.

wow that's crazy money for something take takes about 30 min that's like 200 bucks a hour wow i wish i had business like that..

Its something i like doing its not my job i really just digitize designs for other embroider companys on the side and i learned how to use the machine.. so ill get better and ill probably want alittle more cash for more custom designs but like i said if its something simple or one of the designs i already showed you guys then ill do both headrests for 40 bucks... dont know how many ill do at that price just so theres no panties geting in a bunch

That doesn't look bad but how about one like in Post #9 where you have the RS with camaro running through it? Like a black IROC-Z with a silver camaro running through it?

 

ya that's easy if you want them done u need to mark the middle with a marker a dot or a small x is fine it will be covered up anyway pm me if you want them done and ill give you my info once i make the pattern first you'll see how its going to look before i embroider on them and we can make changes at that time

 

I just want to trace a piece of paper to figure out the size and to make sure its what I want first before I commit. What is the size and lenght of the lettering you use or is it set to whatever size you want

 

good question because if your headrest is the same size as mine we only have a 100 x 130mm ( 3.937in x 5.1181in ) area to play with so the text can be as large as you want within that 100 x 130 mm space
