t-top bags how to clean/restore them?

Hey guys, I now have two t-top cars. Only problem is the two sets of bags are in rather dirty condition, since they weren't taken care of.
One bag I have went through the flood we had in PA- soaked the bag completely, and is covered with silt. I figure hose it off well, and then take it to the dry cleaners.
Other one, guy just tossed it in the corner, and left it sitting there. Looks like a mouse started making a nest in it, but didn't tear it apart.
Any tips you used to restoring them?
Thanks!

Clean the 1st one with some soapy water and wipe it down well, hang to dry.Skip the dry cleaner.
the 2nd. do the same!!use saddle soap on the exterior to bring back the texture.

I cleaned mine that same way....my car was missing the bag when I got it, so I got a bag out of a 85 berlinetta and it restored them nice and pretty, Saddle soap does wonders for leather and knock-offs!!

How about this....

Mine was covered in mold and had mice living in it(car was stored in a shipping container). Nothing would get it clean, smell was terrible. I had nothing to lose...

Tossed it in the washing machine in hot water with lots of detergent (tide), let it soak in there as well for a couple hours (stopped the cycle part way). Machine was an old school not very gentle top loader.

Came out looking like new, did not rip, shrink, or anything else (even the spots that had slight rips from before did not open up more)! Mold and all signs of mice being in there are gone. Smells fine, looks perfect.

Your mileage may very but if you have nothing to lose...

Thanks, guys! I had thought about tossing them in the washer- I was afraid of damaging them. Not that they aren't already damaged.
Hadn't thought of saddle soap, but that does make sense.

The tough part is the little metal hooks. I need to repaint mine.

carbona spot remover would clean it real nice....but its illegal to sell now cuz it contained mercury. id go with lots of soap and warm water. i do that everytime i wash my car and do the interior. get some of those armor all wipes too for interior leathers and whatnot
