Removed Dash...anything special to look for?

Removed Dash...anything special to look for?
If I ever have to do it again it will only take bout an hour. Wow.
I'm pulling all the wire harnesses from an 85 Iroc and putting in 86 Iroc. Gonna eliminate passenger side ecm wires, putting in a carbed 350.
While I have the dash out, what else can or should I do? Anything I need to watch out for when I put the wires back in and reassemble?
Any tidbits will be savoured.

Yes....replace the heater core if you haven't recently. Total pain to do normally, but super easy with the dash out.

Ok. Visually checked heater core, filled with water, doesn't leak. No rust to deal with.
Today we pulled the entire 86 harness out. It was cut in many places. We also pulled out the 85 harness and laid it in the 86 all ready for assembly. Then we put AC ducts in and are slowly putting it all back together. Everything looks pretty strait forward.
