what size torx

Car: 1985 Firebird S/E
Engine: SBC 350, mild cam Vortec heads
Transmission: Rebuilt 700R4 vette servo+shift kit
Axle/Gears: 3.73
what size torx

I m trying to remove interior panels and the passenger side rear one has a bolt for the rear seat to latch on looks like it unscrews with a large torx does anyone know that size it requires also am i correct in the removal of this panel

I think it's a t50 or t55 just like the seat belt bolts that hold them to the floor. I took mine out with a channel lock, because so much of it's exposed, it shouldn't take much.

yeah i don't wanna score it up ya know so i wanna go buy the torx i need to get it out so i can get that panel out

The proper size is T-47 but you can usually get a T-50 to work. The problem is that most sets do not come with a T-47 so you have to buy it separate. Prob only 5 or 6 bucks at your local auto/hardware store.
