clear gauge cluster lens

I have a question.

Does anybody make replacement lens for our cars, and are they year or years specific?

Re: clear gauge cluster lens

I haven't found any. 90-92 is different from the rest. Find someone with a good used one like me. Perhaps not new, but no visible defects. PM or email me for more info if interested

Re: clear gauge cluster lens

You might search http://www.classicindustries.com or http://www.camarocentral.com for the cover. It's one of those items that may or may not yet be available but both of these sellers have a pretty good record of getting 3rd gen parts added to their inventories. Otherwise, do as Henry suggests and hunt down a good lense from a wrecking yard donar. Chances are it'll cost more in time and gas than the part.. or search the classifieds on this site.

Good luck

PS you'll need a 90-92 (only) lense for your 92 RS

Re: clear gauge cluster lens

ebay, junk yard or the classifieds will all get you good used ones for very little cash. A little elbow grease with a mild abrasive polish (or a headlight polishing kit) will make it look like new.

Re: clear gauge cluster lens

Have you tried buffing them out? with a plastic polish?

Edit: woops, Jim already said it
