Jute pad replaced with Dynamat?
I have the interior stripped out of my car and I'm ready to start putting it all back in. The jute pad, that is under dash, is in sad shape. Could I just replace it with Dynamat or similar product?

I then used the sound deading sheets used in jet airplanes to go on top of the Reflectrix, black looking pieces in the pics. A little time consuming to install. I would also check out the Snake Skin products. They have a heat barrier and sound deading spray on products. These products will be going into my Z-28, as it will be a lot faster/easier to install then the Reflectrix. The doors to the car can be done very easy with the Snake Skin products also. Dynamat is made from the same petroleum based formula that is used in composition roofing shingles used on houses. PITA to work with, IMO.
