fell in defroster vents..
If i posted this in the wrong forum, feel free to move it.
I was changing the speakers in my dash today and i dropped a screw and 2 sockets into my defroster vents...yes i know, two of them. i got one out by breaking/bending one of those extendable magnetic sticks. But i just couldnt find or get the other socket and screw out...is it bad that they are in there? or is there any way to get them out of there.

Just pull the screws from the dashboard top and under the face. Move it out
of the way and take out the defroster vents. Its only a couple of screws
and fish them out.
PIA yes...............I don't think the screws and socket will get to the fan or
squirrel cage but may jamb up your blend door movement.

Telescoping Magnet will do the trick, you may have to bend it a little bit but it's worth the $1.50.

ever try attaching a small hose (such as engine vacuum hose which is flexible) to your larger vacuum hose(shop vac or equivalent) coupling the two with a rag and or duct tape and try to vacuum them out.
Has worked for me in the past!
