Interior screw sets?
I need all the interior screws and fasteners for an 85 camaro I already have all the interior minus the carpet and have lost all interior screws and fasteners aka never let kids around project vehciles. I have the ones for the dash and a couple more but I was wondering if anybody new where I could get a set of screws for the interior or could find most of them? Or could I use any kind of regular small screws?

Re: Interior screw sets?
Most of the screws are standard sized ones. Say you have one and need 6 more, go to the local hardware store and find a similar match. 90% of the screws are nothing special at all. And chances are much of what you pulled out might not be original anyways. Autozone and similar parts stores have the more specialized stuff, like the plastic clips that go inside the door panels.
Only piece of advice I have, is when buying replacement screws, spend the extra to get the corrosion resistant ones. Its amazing how quickly the cheap ones turn to dust when put in contact with old metal.

No problem. And if you think the Camaro is nice now, get back to me in a year or so... she'll be in much better shape and hopefully sporting new paint by then.

Re: Interior screw sets?
Heres my piece of crap project LMAO
Saved this car from a junkyard!!
This is when the front carpet was still in!!
Now it looks like crap BUT it did look better when I 1st got it I had the intention of making a drag car out of it til I started seeing how much it was gonna cost but I already had the interior out which was going to have to come out anyways because the carpet had been to hell and back and the I'm gonna have it primered by the end of the summer!! But give me time and it should be looking better by the end of this summer! LIKE=
