Re: help! cargo cover
Anyone know how to fix those end caps? I just bought one and the end cap broke in shipment.

Re: help! cargo cover
Due to the high volume of replies, I decided to just dive right in and fix it myself. I'm going to try to get some pics tomorrow of it disassembled for the future benefit of others. It actually isn't that complex of a design.
One thing I noticed already, is that the inner endcaps show a small "L" or "R" designating which end of the cover they belong on. However, both ends have the same part number. The orientation is changed by drilling out the rivet on the endcap and then rotating the outer end cap while holding the inner endcap with pliers. When you rotate it, the visible area showing the "L" or "R" will change.
The whole end piece is held in with a small cotter pin looking do-dad. Remove that pin and the whole end piece slides right out.
I haven't attempted the reassembly yet. Will try to do that tomorrow after I try to get some pics. If anyone has any light to shed on the topic then feel free.
