99 Camaro cluster WORKS!! **UPDATE**

Just got done wiring up the 99 camaro cluster to my 89 LS1 camaro. Everything works perfect. this weekend im going to cut to fit my dash for the cluster. it looks like its going to slide right in, i hope lol. Im just super happy that everything works. I havent tested out the speedo yet. The reason for this is because i didnt want to go spend close to $500 to make my stock gauges work. I figure i would spice it up with this. Here are some pics of the install. Should have more later this weekend.

Here is also a link to a short clip of it working

You have way too much free time on your hands i like it locking forward to seeing your car at the Cruise if mine is ready by then ha-ha.

If I'm ready for the Cruise i will be passing through your town on the way up maybe we can met up for the trip up there.

I didnt want to pay close to $500 to make my gas and speedo work correctly. the LS1 sending unit is 30-270ohm (something like that) while the 3rdgen gauge is 0-90ohm. then i need a VSS converter in order to get my speedo spinning again. that sucker cost $360 . Plus this looks cool lol

You can pick up a Grand Prix fuel sender that snaps right into your LS1 tank that's 0-90 ohm... works just fine. In regards to a VSS converter... I take it you have a mechanical speedo gage? If not, just change the conversion data in HPTuners.

Regardless, nice gage set.
