hi guys im doing a total retessory restoration on my iroc , everything sand blasted & now in epoxy primmer , im about to order a new carpet set for car but i keep getting asked what the interior color is it's gray , how would i find what the exact color is , some say dove gray others say dark gray but it dont look all that dark to me any help would be great

 

Your best bet is to get carpet samples so that you can decide for yourself. Regardless of what people say, there isn't a color out there that's 100% identical to the OEM stuff. There are a few very close ones, but because they are a slightly different material, different inks, etc. They reflect the light differently, and... everybody's original carpet has probably faded a different amount. The unfaded section of carpet under my seats doesn't match the carpet on my door panels and center console, and if yours is the same, you'll probably get better results by picking a carpet color that best matches those.
