trans am gta wood dash kit
hey guys..
im bout to get a nice dash kit for my 88 gta to finish up my mint interior.... i have the nice beechwood tan interior almost looks gold and i was wondering do you think the olive ash look would go nicely with my beechwood interior and all black dash and console... i painted my dash with black dye a couple of years ago to get rid of the ugly grey/black color combo.. that grey is really ugly to me... it looks really good now all black.. i wanted to add that olive ash wood grain kit because it looks so close to my beechwood interior.. i think it would really bring the dash out and match my black/beechwood combo.... i thought if i offset the black dash with the olive ash look it will look alot better what do you guys think... here is the link
look at the olive ash look... thats the color i want...

Re: trans am gta wood dash kit
i dont think it will ruin the car at all, i think it would look excellent with the right color combo and the condition of your interior... i see alot of trashed looking third gens.. im trying to make mine as nice as possible.. i think that olive ash would look good because of the interior color i have.... if my car was all black or i had red interior then i would say the woodgrain would look ugly.... my gta is super clean.. my interior looks brand new... i have alot of nice custom peices in there like grant steering wheel with pontiac horn button logo, white gauge overlays, custom dash pad cover with a gold bird stitched, super nice 2 seater conversion that looks like a factory conversion, and more i'll get a pic of my car..
my interior looks better than this vette... we have the exact same color layout... tan seat carpet and black dash and center console... i think this vette looks real good with that wood dash kit.. now if that vette had red interior or gray then i would say the woodgrain shown in this pic would be out of place... but the color he has just completes the look... it brings out that all black dash to match the rest of the interior...
