new leather/cloth seat apolstry
anyone had luck with ordering seat cloth or leather reapolstry kits? i'm not sure weather to do leather or cloth and i have some questions about installation. it looks like you just slip in over the seat? how do you get the old cloth off? i have two seats that are mint in grey cloth and i dont want to destroy those.

Re: new leather/cloth seat apolstry
They do slip over the seats after removing the old covers. They are secured to the frame in places with hog rings, you'll know where they are when you remove the old covers, take it slow and don't force them off - you'll need something to cut the old hog rings out. The kit you're looking at implies that it comes with hog rings and hog ring pliers.
I just redid a set with seat covers I ordered from Hawks Third-Gen Parts, one of our site sponsors.
