wood grain kit

Does anyone have any pics of a wood grain dash kit thats actually in a camaro? Where is the best place to buy one? Not so much for top of the line, as it is for my 16 year olds car, but something that looks pretty good.

Re: wood grain kit

Hey dude... I started a thread awhile back about my wood grain kit. You can probably find it if you search. I attached a few pics for you man. I seen this type of wood grain kit on ebay. Just type in "wood grain kit for camaro" or something like that. By the way it was pretty much 50/50 as in some folks love and some just hate it!!! It does look alot better in person, and wood grain is still popular today. I think I'm missing a few parts,, but oh well it came with my ride like that.

Re: wood grain kit

Same here, It does look a little out of place. But I can see keeping it if a car came with it.

Re: wood grain kit

my car came with it. Ive been told it was a dealer option. one of the previous owners ripped it off though. now there a bunch of scratched all over the front of the dash and center consol.

I think it would look fine with my car as its brown and would match.

Re: wood grain kit

My white IROC came with the wood grain kit. I then stuck on some top quality carbon film over it all and it looked great!

Re: wood grain kit

I have to agree with everyone else here--woodgrain just doesnt look good in these cars and if you end up damaging the dash doing the install you will have most likely affected the resale as well.
I like the black dashes in these cars.
