Interior A pillar, sail panel and roof trim

Interior A pillar, sail panel and roof trim
I've got the usual beat- up headliner in my '83 that I need to work on. So I'm looking at the interior A pillar trim and the rest of the inner headliner trim pieces running along the top of the door frames (non T-Top car), and along the top of the windshield and I don't see any screws that hold them in. How do these come off? Do you just pop them off by prying? Or am I just missing seeing the screws? Unlike in my youth, nowadays I try to be more carefull to keep from destroying things when taking them apart. So any advice would be appreciated!
Also, my driver's side shoulder belt has lost it's recoil strength. Is the recoil assembly up in the roof mounting area, or does it run down to the floor and have the recoil assembly down there?
