Another hatch motor problem!
I got a 87 IROC. The guy i bought it from tried to fix the hatch motor problem. When i got it, the entire assembly was dismantled, including the white plastic guides, motor and locking assembly. I am trying to figure out how this all goes back together. The guides were lying in the bottom of the trunk well and i have no clue on how this all goes back together. It would really help if someone had PICTURES or a DETAILED DESCRIPTION of how it all goes back together. Thanks
This what i have to work with...
Sorry they are small but i'm new so I don't know how to resize them.

Re: Another hatch motor problem!
Top DOwn Solutions right here on this sight can help you. I think there is a diagram there and Lon I believe his name is from there can sell you every piece you need. I know the guides go into the track on both sides of the motor assembly, then the assembly slides in from the bottom. Then there are 2 bolts that bolt into the plastic on the left hand side of the motor assembly. I have an 89 and thats how it is. I know this is a poor description but tHere will be some others who can help you better.
