Yeah i thought about that but is the extra price worth the weight savings? And i never liked the look of a 2 or a 4 point i like 6 or is yours an 8? Well i like the look and protection of one like yours.

Is that the saving for the cage? Or everything? Like all suspension inc?

Re: My custom interior started: 8pt roll bar/Corbeau Seats
Do these Forzas sit any lower than the stock seats? I'm in the market for some corbeaus and headroom is my biggest concern. With a helmet on I'm touching the t-top glass and need to sit a little bit lower. Thanks!

Re: My custom interior started: 8pt roll bar/Corbeau Seats
depends on how you mount them. I used stock seat rails and to me, it feels like it sits like stock height but I have power adjustable seat rails so i can raise/lower as much as I need to. I'm short at 5'9"

Re: My custom interior started: 8pt roll bar/Corbeau Seats
I know this is an old thread but can anyone tell me what size the tubing for competition engineering roll bar is?? According to summit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CEE-3130-K/ it could either be 1 5/8 or 1 3/4 in. x 0.134 in..

Roll bar, 4-8 pt can use 1 3/4"x 0.118" thick wall mild steel or 1 3/4" x .083" thick wall chromoly steel. Roll CAGE 10 point or higher can use 1 5/8" x 0.118" mild steel all around or 1 5/8" x 0.83" thick chromoly steel.
Mine is 8pt and has 1 3/4" mild steel, thick walls

Re: My custom interior started: 8pt roll bar/Corbeau Seats
I'm liking the setup a lot. It looks close to mine but I went a little different way, oh and to 91CamaroRS I highly reccomend putting in the cage even if it adds a 100 lbs or so. With subframe connectors it stiffens up the car soooo much. On my 91 I kinda back halfed it and made a 4 link setup and tied the cage into the 4 link chassis bars and the subframe connectors. I'll dig up a few pictures real quick

Re: My custom interior started: 8pt roll bar/Corbeau Seats
On my car the only thing I really dont like is the fact that I dont have any door armrests. Just a flat panel. Makes it harder to close the doors I usually just keep windows down and grab the top.
Soon to have a 10 point cage tho. Wont be long before my track warns me about running 9's with 8pt bar. 9's are a PITA for a street car. Need full firesuit, window net, NHRA license, chassis certs, SFI rated everything ( i do have everything but tranny shield), engine diaper or something....ahhh PITA

PITA for sure man, but did you snag a pic of how the arm rest will interfere? Because I will modify my door bars to try to keep em if necessary. I guess I dive into the attic and find my door panels, or whats left of em. I won't be running 9's so I don't need to certify anything...yet. I really wish I could post pictures becasue I'm worried if a standard carpet for the Camaros is gonna fit in my trunk area. With the tubs I already had to notch panels and such, on yours, how much excess carpet did you have behind the panels? If my computer decides to upload the pics I'll get em up asap
