recaro seats 1986?
i bought an 1986 trans am it has recaro seats in it which match all of the interior trim. reading around i have come to the understanding that they stoped recaro seats by 85. i have the build sheet for this car is there an option code for them? could these be factory installed seats?

Car: 83 Recaro TA/ 95 TA
Engine: 355 / LT4
Transmission: turbo 350 / 6 speed
Axle/Gears: 373 / not sure think same

You could check out this web site (www.82recaro.com) I'm pretty sure they only made then untill 84 but those seats were also offered in the pace car

Recaro seats were an option in '85 and '86 on the regular Trans Am.
