Re: cigarette lighter questions.
The same thing is happening to me, I started a thread and got some suggestions. I haven't tried them yet, so I don't know if they work, but here is the thread that was started. Good Luck!!

I had the same problem. But we also replaced the horn relay along with it since the horn didnt work. Does your horn work?

Re: cigarette lighter questions.
Doesn't matter. When it is depressed, it blows the fuse. Besides, couldn't it still rust?

The lighter? Nah http://moderndaymuscle.com/inc/sdetail/651
I got a housing around here though. I doubt you'll need a new one.

Re: cigarette lighter questions.
Take your lighter apart and clean it up. Be careful with the wrapped metal (cant think of the name;1:56 AM). Then, on the ride side of the lighter outlet, pull out the dash a little bit. Put your hand behind there and take off the connector. i think you also have to uncrew it, not sure. Anyway, sand off the rust on that.

Re: cigarette lighter questions.
i guess i'll take out my housing and try cleaning it up. It doesnt look all that dirty but i havent taken it apart yet. I dont have the lighter portion anymore, just the housing. SO i hope i can find a new housing if my stock one doesnt clean up well or continues to blow fuses. i'm sure any cig lighter housing will work tho
