Headlight ****

I can't seem to get the headlight switch **** off. I see that there is a little spot for a tool to fit in but no matter what I do it won't budge. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Headlight ****

Funny, I can't get my headlight **** to stay on. So I stuck it in the center console and live with pulling on the metal rod.

Although mine never really stayed put, I think it's supposed to just pull right off. It's held on by a metal friction piece.

Re: Headlight ****

sort of remember that you push something into the side and it pulls straight out. Been a long time.

Re: Headlight ****

I went to the junk yard to practice on one before I tried it on my car and inevitably broke that one. The rod came out of the switch. Even with the rod and **** in my hand I could not get it off. There is a friction clip(???) on the inside but I couldn't get it to move in any direction.

Re: Headlight ****

Basically if you pull the 2 underdash panals off, look under directly below the light switch. there will be a little spring loaded button. Make sure you pull your headlight switch all the way out, THEN push the button while pulling on the light rod. comes right out.
