Re: check my camaros insides out
Interesting standard for what's "all good" and what isn't.
As for the flag....its over. Just let it die.

Interior looks pretty clean. The headliner can go though. Pretty stupid "mod". I think the Cragars look pretty interesting. What's the dimensions on them?

c'mon guys, the rebel flag isn't supposed to represent racism or anything, it represents the southern heritage, so lets go easy on the white trash kind of comments.
I personally think it looks pretty good, not really a fan of the seat covers though.

I use to say the same thing until I lived in South Carolina for 3 years. Trust me, theres alot more "south will rise again" mentality then you would think would exist in 2008. How you can say what something is "supposed to represent", I dont know anyway. What something represents depends on your personal point of view. Im sure those who were strung up or persecuted for their race would argue with your point of view.

"yew sumbitch!"
not my thing, but more power to you. Its your car and the only thing that matters is what it means to you. I live in South Carolina and its not as bad as it used to be...I remember back when they had that issue with the Capital Building in Columbia with the Confederate flag, I can understand a that because its a public building, but if its your car, you do what you like...

I am personally offended by everything the confederate flag represents but if you like it I love it,
I prefer a outright neck than one who would hide it.
Do your thing Jethro!!
just don't expect me to buy it one day, although I doubt you would sell it to ME anyway!!!!!!!

That looks nice, I have the dixieland air horn from the Dukes car installed in my camaro. It's always funny to c how people react when I use it.

Re: check my camaros insides out
I'm guilty for liking the Confederate Flag. I remember back in the 8th grade learning about the Civil war, the South was just so interesting. I remember that spring I drove to FL with my family. And the Southern states was even more interesting.
Anyway, it's your car man. enjoy it how you like! Love how those Cragars look.

Re: check my camaros insides out
wow, I just noticed that it actually covers the sail panels? Awesome, how far does it cover? I'm Mexican and I've actually thought about something similar, but I figured black/gold car + green, white, red headliner with tan (at the time) interior would look too Mexican in a bad way... like Camaros with 13in lowrider rims....

Re: check my camaros insides out
as someone who has done a few headliners (hardtop and tee) i will say that looks well executed. it looks as though you took the time to do the job right. nice work.
as for your fabric selection.. to each his/her own. both of my cars have the original factory looking black (real creative huh?). when we did my sisters headliner we did it in aqua blue.
additionally, speaking of listening and learning...
two = 2
too = in addition; also; furthermore
i always mess up my "there, they're, their"s. why is our language so crazy?

Re: check my camaros insides out
The flag isn't really my thing and I think it kinda brings down the overall quality of your interior just because the color scheme is so off. BUT, I respect the hell out of anyone who took a Camaro off it's death bed. Especially because your car looks CLEAN as hell with that fresh black paint, tinted windows, and chrome rims.
I would like to meet these black friends that don't mind the confederate flag, though, lol. If someone pulled that **** out in downtown Minneapolis they'd probably get their *** shot and beat the hell out of.

Holy ****! That is absolutely the coolest interior mod I have seen!!
I almost wish I had a hardtop car just to do that to!
I had the rebel flag front liscense plate on my car for a week - untill some black kid at school ripped it out of the bumper and left it under my wiper blade. *******.

Re: check my camaros insides out
That picture of buford T justice is EXACTLY my reaction when i seen the picture lol.....
Ive contemplated trying to see how much it would cost to get my ttops vinyl wrapped with a confederate flag on it, Mainly because i enjoy playing up to stereotypes, its funny to me (also thought about seeing if they could cut tint, to give the outline of the flag on my tops, so i didn't lose the view)
But a whole headliner redone, gosh.

But fthe problem with the stereptype is it is wrong. The South or Confederatesstood for smaller government contriol. Not racism. Also Gary Durdan ( Black guy from CSI) has a confederate headliner on one of his cars.

If we all did the same crap to our cars, it would be pretty stale around here 10 years ago, He!! throw some 22in wheels on that thing and really confuse people. Whatever your tastes are you seem to have done a nice job on that headliner. Now I know there is a bridge out in hazzard county......somewhere.....

Very cool headliner. I love how the pattern seems to match up on the sail panels too. I want to do the same thing in my 74 k5 blazer.

Re: check my camaros insides out
Travis probably isn't on this site anymore, but if he is....interior looks nice, the colors of the flag itself set it apart(in a bad way,) you could possibly(if you still even own the car) try to get a matching red interior. Then it would all match together and look much better. Headliner running into the sailpanels looks good though.

I got this buddy who would kill for that headliner! Well, he will have to find a camaro first though! I'm not a racist but I fear that he may be. So yeah. I need to stop hanging out with him because people think I am a racist too just for talking with him! Ugh, high school...
