88 IROC armrest question...
Duh...want to remove the armrest, I don't want to mess up the round bung/cover over the upper end screw. How do I remove that without tearing anything up? I tried with a thin bladed screwdriver, thinking it might pop off fairly easily, it didn't and I don't want to try to force it unless it just needs more force. I was dinging the plastic, so I quit, came to ask. Thanks! John

Theres one Torx Screw at the top, and look underneath it, theres 2 more Torx screws. undo them, and it will come off.

Figured that part, but how do you get the round cover off of the upper screw to get it? Don't want to bugger up the plastic. Thanks for the help!

Bro, reread the post, he is talking about the plastic insert that covers the torx screw There is no simple way to remove, I just pry from one part to minimize damage, someone else might have a better way but I haven't found one, they are in there pretty tight

Thanks Duke. Might not be a 100 point car when I'm done with it. But I'm having fun.
