Re: SQUEAKY HATCH
i was thinking adjusting the latch down a little bit it will make it harder to shut and stay shut but it may keep the hatch tight

Re: SQUEAKY HATCH
there are rubber adjusters on each side that should help with that, as long as the hatch is closing properly

Be sure the hinges are lubricated and the weatherstripping is soft and not dried out, hard or flat. Might have to treat them with some silicone emulsion (available at your Chevy dealer or autoparts store) or equivalent.

Re: SQUEAKY HATCH
I forgot to mention, but the rear glass on my '89 Jimmy squeeks like crazy due to the struts. Actually it's at the ends of the struts where with mount. Those pivot points squeek like crazy when they're dry. I lubricate them occasionally.

Re: SQUEAKY HATCH
If you replace the plastic bushing in the guides in the electric motor that will kill most of the squeak, and keeping the struts lubed will do the rest. I replaces both parts, and after I fgured out to keep the struts pivot points lubed, it stopped. The T-tops have an adjustment, if you lube the linkage and readjust the holders tighter, the T-tops will seal better and stop leaking
