t-top headliner sagging question

I've installed a new t-top headliner in my 84 z28 a few months ago and it is sagging a little just above the rear view mirror next to winshield . How do I keep it from sagging? The only thing that comes to mind is double sided tape but not sure of any tape strong enough to hold and last. Any suggestions-solutions?? Thanks.

Re: t-top headliner sagging question

I would try adhesive-backed velcro, especially if you can find the 2" wide stuff. That 2" wide industrial stuff is insanely sticky and will stick to almost anything. It's also wide enough that you don't need ultra precision when installing it. Once you get it in place, separate the pieces and pull down the visor mounts and the a-pillar trim so that you can pull the front of the headliner down and really push the velcro onto the body panel and the other piece onto the headliner. When you reinstall, you should be all set.
