I've heard bad things from people regarding super 77 adhesive when it comes to headliner recovering (might wanna do a search on this one for more info), it's not strong enough to hold for long and begins to sag.
a friend of mine's grandmother is an automotive upholster, and she reccomended the Rubber and Vinyl #80 spray adhesive, it was more expensive than the super 77 but works really well, has yet to let go of anything I've used it on.
I bought it from Home Depot.

I used 3M general Trim Adhesive on my interior/Headliner back in 2002. Wal-Mart sells it for like 8.88 a can

they just opened the new super wal mart here a few days ago, ill have to check for that, i assumed wally world wouldnt have such a thing, i know that they opted to not have a fabric dept in it, at like the last minute

Yeah i suggest 3M 90, it is VERY strong and dries quickly....Works amazing and alot of stores around here carry it.
