I've heard bad things from people regarding super 77 adhesive when it comes to headliner recovering (might wanna do a search on this one for more info), it's not strong enough to hold for long and begins to sag.

a friend of mine's grandmother is an automotive upholster, and she reccomended the Rubber and Vinyl #80 spray adhesive, it was more expensive than the super 77 but works really well, has yet to let go of anything I've used it on.

I bought it from Home Depot.

Yeah i suggest 3M 90, it is VERY strong and dries quickly....Works amazing and alot of stores around here carry it.
