Will El Camino buckets and seat tracks fit?

I was wondering about the interchangeability of the mid-eighties El Camino seats with the Camaro..... visually they look like the same bucket style, did GM put the same part number seat in both? And I realize the floor pans are probably different between the G and F body, but can Camaro seat tracks be made to work in an El Camino and vice-versa? Thanks in advance for any insight!

I say go for the bench seat! lol. But why do you want to go for the camino seats if there the same as a f-body? Adam :-)

Well, to be honest with you, I have a pair of El Caminos, both with bench seats...... and I have a spare set of decent buckets and seat tracks I pulled from a wrecked Z-28 that I would like to put in one of them. However I don't know how to weld and I would like to know if it's a bolt in affair, or relatively minimal modification before I go tearing stuff apart. I figured some of you more automotively experienced guys could share some of your insight with me. One of the El Caminos has a door striker bolt from a junkyard IROC, so she's at least part F-body blooded!

Suposedly... the G body seats fit the F body (or vise versa) if you just change the seat tracks out. I have never tried it, so I am not for certain. Hope this helps man!!
