I am looking for a UM6 radio with the amber display. I don't care if it looks disgusting, as long as the display is intact.

Let me see if I can find a pic somewhere. If you have a pic of the one you have I can tell you if it is the right one. It should have an amber display. Its value is dependent on the condition.

 

Just curious - is it the one out of your 84? Some of the radios that year had an EQ built in. That is not the one I need.

the one from my 84 is the right one, I looked it up, but I'm not selling that one,I keep everything to put the car back to stock.. I was at a shop about a month ago and they had a mint one on the shelf,I'm sure its the right one. I haven't been back there but I think they only want $30 for it, I been meaning to stop in and see if its still there, would you be interested if it was?..anything I need to look for?

sorry buddy, I just got back from that shop and the radio is gone, i,ll keep an eye out though, the wreckers used to full of them, try checking local long standing car stereo shops they have one in an old box laying around..
